The Enrollment Process
Thank you for your interest in Webster Square Day Care Center!
Webster Square Day Care Center requires that parents interested in enrolling their child(ren) come for a visit day with the child. In the center-based program the child and parent(s) spend approximately half an hour in the child's classroom together. This allows the child to feel comfortable and secure with the parents(s) presents. It is also an opportunity for the parents to meet the teaching staff while observing the classroom. WSDCC group child care program has 4 rooms. The child is enrolled in to their classroom according to where the child is developmentally.
In the family child care program, parents will be given the opportunity to visit the provider prior to placement. Every effort will be made to provide the parent with at least two providers to visit, so that the parent may chose a provider with whom they feel most comfortable. The parent will then meet with the appropriate intake coordinator to fill out the necessary enrollment forms and review the policies and procedures of the Webster Square Day Care Center, Inc. This process will take approximately one hour.
The child may begin as soon as the slot is available. The agency recognizes that some children may have separation issues. If this is the case with your child, arrangements can be made so that the child can attend part time to allow the child to adjust. Please refer to our curriculum page to understand Webster Square Day Care Center helps to support your child through these big transitions.
